Tips for Cleaning the Ovens in Florida Rentals!
After a resident has vacated their rental, the task
of getting the appliances cleaned up and ready for the next resident to use
falls on the property manager. Some people can leave their ovens in a horrible
state, with burnt-on food and grease, which makes it hard for the managers to
get them clean completely. Property
management in Neptune Beach, however, has some tips that can
get those ovens sparkling again!
1. Some
ovens come with a self-cleaning setting. When that setting is enabled, the oven
will get extremely hot, and leftover foodstuffs will be reduced to ash. After
the oven has cooled down, the ash can be swept out into a dust pan, and the
chamber can be wiped down with a vinegar-dampened cloth to remove any errant
particles.
2. An
oven that has no self-cleaning features will have to be scrubbed clean
manually. It is important for the manager that is doing this to protect their
hands. Otherwise, the commercial-grade cleansers that are meant for eating
through charred carbon could leave chemical burns on their skin. Wearing rubber
gloves works very well. A manager could also wear polyurethane gloves.
3. During
an oven’s cleaning, its racks will also need to be tended to. They can be put
to soak in a sink filled with soapy water, which will help to loosen the greasy
substances clinging to them. After the oven is finished, the racks can be
removed from the water, scrubbed down with a sponge, dried, and then returned
to the oven.
